Start with adding a clay wall to your sculpt, this will be the parting line for the mold so think about where you want the seam on the cast so its less visable. Make sure to take your time and clean up the wall next to the sculpt, the better you make it now the better your cast will come out. Im using WED clay for my wall for easy cleanup with water.

I go just behind the ear to hide the seam line in the casting, following the ear like this also lines the mold up.

After you clean up the wall, lay the sculpt over on a foam padding, nows a good time to go over everything making sure you didn't miss anything.

Now I spray the sculpt and wall with Crystal clear, three light coats should do it, this acts as a release so you can get the sculpt out of the mold later on.

Put some ultracal 30 in a container and add water on top of it and let set about 10 min. Then mix well, I like it about like the thicknes of pudding, but the first coat alittle thin to pick up the detail in the sculpt.

After the first coat starts to kick and get stiff I add burlap strip to it to make the mold strong, cover the first layer of burlap with ultracal and add a second layer of burlap going the other direction. After this coat starts to set add another layer of ultracal.(sorry I didn't have pics of each layer of ultracal, you kinda have to work fast with it and i didn't want to get it on my camera).

Now that its setup I clean the edges to get rid of any sharp point.

And add pry areas to the front half of the mold, don't leave out this step, you will need these to open the mold later.

After you have it all cleaned up and the pry points added, spray with three light coats of crystal clear. Repeat the process like the first half of the mold.

After its all dry and ready to demold, find the pry points, add a screw driver to both sides of the mold and lightly pry going to all the pry points and working it easy, It may take some time just go easy with it and work it slow!

The front of the mold is off.

This is the sculpt with the front removed, the white flake is the crystal clear, now all that you need to do is claen the crystal clear and clay from the mold and your ready to cast.
